Well here’s your chance! A Swing Dancing Beginners class will be held at the Sydney Rock 'n' Roll & Alternative Market Sunday 25 November 10.30am - 11.30am in Manning Bar. 

The street dance of the 1940’s, Lindyhop is a fun and energetic dance, that is still danced all around the world today! This class will give you the basics to hit the dance floor straight after class and Cut a Rug!!

About the Teachers…..

Bruce Elder and Peta Parnell  are two of Sydney’s most experienced and known Dance Teachers, in the Swing, Rock n Roll and Rockabilly Scene. Both of their dancing careers have spanned more than 15 years. Bruce has been teaching since 1999 and Peta has been teaching since 2006. Bruce has been dancing Swing, Rock n Roll and Rockabilly since 1990 and Peta has also trained in other Ballroom and Latin Dance Styles prior to finding her love of all things 1940’s and 1950’s.  Their fun and lively classes will have you wanting more!

Teaching people to dance across the Inner West, they have both also competed and judged Dance Competitions locally and Interstate. 

This is a Beginners Class, and no prior dance experience or dance partner is required.Class Cost is only $11 per person and includes market entry fee. Places are limited, book now to avoid missing out!
