Sydney Rock 'n' Roll & Alternative Market is back with it’s rockin’ winter edition on Sunday July 26 at Manning Bar & House Manning Rd, Uni of Sydney. Providing an exceptional and unique shopping experience and a fabulous day out for everyone. Featuring a Massive Record Fair and Entertainment line-up including the Sydney launch of The Rechords latest album “Live Rechording”

Over three floors and across two giant courtyards you will find:  Fashion galore; rock ‘n’ roll, alternative, vintage, handmade and unique clothing for men, women and children, jewellery, accessories, posters, artwork, tikis, homewares, collectables, retro hair and make-up stylists, cult DVDs and a massive record fair with more than 50,000 LPs and 45s covering Alternative, Punk, Metal, Rockabilly, Blues, Jazz, Country, Reggae, Club, Hip Hop and every other genre since the dawn of Rock ‘n’ Roll plus so much more.

When you are not shopping up a storm you can dance to your heart’s content in Manning Bar or kick back with the coolest retro tunes in the laid-back Tiki Bar and international food court, take dancing lessons, or admire the classic and vintage vehicle display. There’s also a café, bars, and giant outdoor games the kids will love. 


The Rechords – “Live Rechording” Album launch - Synonomous with the Americana theme  The Rechords are known for their unique take on Hillbilly, Western Swing, Alt. Country early Rhythm & Blues, Bluegrass, Rock-a-billy and more.   

Spurs for Jesus – A little bit country & a lot rock ‘n’ roll spiced up with a few surprise flavours such as Rockabilly, Gospel, Swing, Tex-Mex, and more Spurs love a big shindig and have graced the stage at the market more times than one.

The Jordan C. Thomas Band - You'll find Jordan in his element slaving over a big old 1954 Gibson ES 150 in front of his 6 piece band, it’s cool, it’s old school and it’s happening right now -  their blend of Rockabilly, Jump Swing and more will have you on your toes.

The Drey Rollan Band - with their very danceable brand of rock ‘n’ roll, rockabilly, blues, doo-wop and country.

Plus DJs – Rockin’ Marc Rondeau, Rod Almighty, The Crimplenes and Solid Gold Hell DJs. Plus MC – Wolfman Dan

Plus Swing Dancing Lessons - If you’ve always wanted to give Swing dancing a try, there’ll be a class for beginners held at the market between 10.45am and 11.45am. It’s just $10 per class, which includes entry to the market. No need to bring a dance partner – just plenty of energy and your best dancing shoes! Entry to the Sydney Rock 'n' Roll & Alternative Market is $5, with kids under 12 FREE. Nowhere else in Sydney offers this much bang for your buck. Doors open 10.30am.
